VERENA

I am Verena from Hamburg, a part-time artist alongside my job in marketing. Art gives me the perfect balance to my structured everyday work - it is a space where I can be creative and explore freely. I naturally found my way into abstract art, especially since drawing realistically was never really my thing. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, colors, and textures, and I love how each piece takes on a life in its own. My art is defined by a blend of abstraction and minimalism, where simplicity and form come together to explore space, balance, and visual harmony through subtle details and refined compositions.

MY INSPIRATION

My art is often inspired by nature - it is where I find peace and a sense of clarity. Whether it is the calm of the ocean, the glow of a sunset, or the texture of a rocky path, I am drawn to natural elements and the moments they create. Through abstract interpretation, I translate these impressions into art - not necessarily to replicate what I see, but to express how I experience it.

My ideas for color combinations are taken from anywhere - nature, interiors, fashion, or even something unexpected on the street. I enjoy experimenting with different shapes and compositions, letting each piece evolve freely. For me, art is all about exploring form, mood, and movement in a way that feels intuitive, honest and authentic.
